Dear collegue,

in the editors meeting this week apart from discussing the state of the outline document, we discussed the evaluation detector model for the DOD. Please find a first scetch of the proposed detector in the document folder, outline document. This is still preliminary, and a more detailed drawing and a table with numbers will appear in a few days.

Brief minutes of the DOD editors meeting will be send around soon as well.

Thanks to everyone who contributed material to the DOD. We are not yet done though! It would be great if those sections which are still missing could be uploaded soon.

PLEASE make sure you download FIRST your section from the WEB, and then update this file to reflect your changes. If you want to copy material from other documents, make sure you use "paste special" to avoid copying spurious formatting commands into the document. Before downloading your section to the WEB, please check that you have not introduced spurious strange formats!

I like to propse that we organise a weekly editorial phone conference until Bangalore, to track the progress of the report. Suggested time: Thursday, afternoon in Europe. Please send me suggestions for times etc.
