A problem with Geant4?: You see on the upper right a 40 GeV photon coming from a strange direction and with some backscattering. In fact it points to the impact on the calorimeter of a pion drawn in white and coming downwards. Indeed the mother track of this photon is that pion, but the pion has 6 GeV. Did you encounter that problem already?
