Gabriel Musat: MOKKA news RangeCut per region in Mokka
DavidWard's comparisons of Test Beam data with Monte Carlo simulations show that setting a range cut of 0.2 microns in Mokka improves agreement but slows programm down by a factor of 20. The next Mokka release will allow one to set different range cuts in Silicon, Tungsten and in PCB's.

We and people fron DESY noticed that while using Geant4 7.0 and 7.1, Mokka sometimes runs into an infinite loop, not processing any more events but still running. Several tests were done, but no solution found. The bug was fixed in Geant4 7.1 patch 01

While using his reconstruction software, J-C Brient noticed that 31 events out of 1000 were presenting fakes with energy above 1 GeV.
